Help Center

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

Version: 2.1

The Travelism Help Center provides guidance for using your account, managing profiles, sharing content, communicating with other users, planning trips, reporting problems, and contacting support.

1. Creating and Accessing Your Account

You can create or access a Travelism account using the authentication options available in the app.

For account-access problems:

  • Confirm that you are using the correct email address.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Request a new verification or password-reset email when available.
  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Ensure that the Travelism app is updated.
  • Try closing and reopening the app.

Never share your password, verification code, or login link with another person.

2. Managing Your Personal Profile

You can manage available profile information through your profile and Settings pages.

Depending on the features available, you may be able to update:

  • Your name
  • Username
  • Profile photograph
  • Cover photograph
  • Biography
  • Country or city
  • Travel interests
  • Website or social links
  • Mobile phone number, which you can verify with a one-time code
  • Whether your full name, gender, and country are shown publicly

Some information may be publicly visible. Do not place private identity documents, passwords, financial information, or sensitive personal information in public profile fields.

My Plan in Settings shows the available personal subscriptions. You can buy them in the app and manage or cancel them in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

To switch to a professional account, open Settings and choose Switch to Professional Account. Some professional features require an active paid personal plan.

3. Managing a Business Profile

Authorized users may create or manage business profiles.

Business information should remain accurate and may include:

  • Business name
  • Username
  • Description
  • Category
  • Contact information
  • Address or service location
  • Website or social links
  • Logo and cover image

Only create or manage a business profile when you are the owner or have permission to represent the business.

Before your business can sell products or services, accept bookings, or receive payouts, complete every stage of the Business Verification Center in the business dashboard. You will also need to sign the Business Partner Agreement and mail the original documents it lists.

You can invite team members to help run your business, and you are responsible for what they do on its behalf. Business Plans shows the available business subscriptions.

4. Creator Tools

If your professional account is in a Creator category (for example photographer, videographer, blogger, singer or musician), you get creator tools in the Travelism business dashboard on the web:

  • Videos: upload long travel videos, group them into playlists, add captions and see watch stats.
  • Albums: keep each photo shoot in one album. Basic holds 1,000 photos in total and Premium 10,000.
  • Stories: write travel stories with photos and the places they cover.
  • Music: upload your songs and live recordings for people to play on your profile.
  • Shows: list where you perform next and answer booking requests.

Published work appears on your profile and can be added to your storefront. Photos and videos tagged with a place also show on that place in the map.

To share a published album on your feed, open the album and tap Share. You can also tag your albums, videos and stories on a post — see the next section.

To book a creator, open their profile and tap Book for an event. Send the date, event type, venue and a message. They can accept and chat with you, or decline, and you get a notification either way. Your requests and their status show at the top of the same sheet, where you can cancel one that is still waiting. Travelism does not take payment for these bookings; agree the price and details in chat.

5. Posts, Photos, Videos, and Moments

Travelism may allow you to share posts, photographs, videos, captions, destinations, hashtags, comments, and temporary Moment content.

Before publishing:

  • Confirm that you have permission to use the content.
  • Avoid sharing private or sensitive information.
  • Check the selected audience or visibility option.
  • Make sure tagged people or businesses are relevant.
  • Use the paperclip to tag the things in your post — products or services you sell or bought, stays, and creator albums, videos or stories. On photos you can place each tag on the exact spot.
  • Follow the Travelism Community Guidelines.

Uploaded media may be compressed or resized for compatibility and performance.

6. Comments, Likes, Follows, and Other Interactions

Travelism includes social interactions such as:

  • Following profiles
  • Follow requests
  • Likes and reactions
  • Comments and replies
  • Saves
  • Shares
  • Profile and content reporting
  • Blocking profiles

Use these features respectfully. Spam, harassment, impersonation, manipulation, and artificial engagement are not permitted.

7. Messages and Chats

Travelism may provide direct, business, group, or trip-related communication.

For messaging problems:

  • Confirm that your internet connection is active.
  • Refresh or reopen the conversation.
  • Check whether either participant has blocked the other.
  • Confirm that the message or attachment finished uploading.
  • Check whether the media format or file size is supported.
  • Restart the app if the conversation does not update.

Do not use Travelism messages for emergency communication.

Reported messages may be reviewed for moderation, safety, support, or legal compliance.

For voice and video call problems:

  • Confirm that microphone and, for video calls, camera permission is enabled for Travelism.
  • Check that your internet connection is stable.
  • Close other apps using the microphone or camera.
  • Restart the app if a call does not connect.

8. Blocking and Unblocking Profiles

Blocking may restrict communication and interaction between profiles.

You can manage blocked profiles through the relevant Privacy and Safety area in Settings.

Blocking may not remove:

  • Content already copied or shared
  • Screenshots taken by another person
  • Content visible through unrelated public contexts
  • Records retained for safety or moderation

Creating another account to evade a block is prohibited.

9. Trips and Collaboration

Travelism may allow you to:

  • Create trips
  • Add destinations and dates
  • Build itineraries
  • Add activities and notes
  • Create packing lists
  • Invite collaborators
  • Use trip-related chats

Review collaborator permissions before inviting someone.

Travel information provided by users may be incomplete or outdated. Independently verify visas, passports, health requirements, travel advisories, local laws, accommodation, transport, weather, insurance, prices, and safety conditions.

You can add a trip's dates and itinerary to your device calendar by turning on Calendar Sync in the trip's settings. Turn it off at any time to stop future updates.

10. Marketplace Orders and Service Bookings

Travelism may allow you to order products or book services — such as accommodation, tours, transport, experiences, guides, or restaurants — from businesses through the marketplace.

The only payment method currently available is cash on delivery — you pay the business directly when your order arrives or your service is provided. Travelism does not currently process card or online payments.

For order or booking problems:

  • Check your order or booking status and confirmation number in the app.
  • Contact the business directly for questions about delivery, timing, or fulfilment.
  • Report a listing or business to Travelism if you believe it is fraudulent or misleading.

Each business shows its cancellation and refund policy before you order or book. You can request a cancellation or refund from the order or booking in the app, and track it under Refunds in Settings. For cash-on-delivery orders, refunds are paid by the business. Travelism is not the seller or service provider, but may review disputes.

11. Personal and Business Verification

Travelism may offer verification for eligible personal and business profiles.

A verification application may require:

  • Identity information
  • Identity documents
  • Selfie or identity-confirmation images
  • Business registration documents
  • Ownership or authorization evidence
  • Additional information requested during review

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

For verification problems:

  • Ensure that the document is clear and readable.
  • Use an accepted document type.
  • Confirm that the document is not expired.
  • Ensure that submitted information matches the document.
  • Avoid edited, cropped, blurred, or incomplete evidence unless specifically requested.
  • Follow any correction or resubmission instructions shown in the app.

A verification badge does not represent an endorsement or guarantee.

12. Notifications

Travelism may send notifications about messages, interactions, trips, reports, account activity, or other relevant events.

You can manage notification permission through your device settings.

When notifications do not arrive:

  • Confirm that notifications are allowed for Travelism.
  • Disable battery restrictions that may block notifications.
  • Check that the device has internet access.
  • Reopen the app to refresh the device registration.
  • Confirm that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is not hiding alerts.

Notification previews may appear on your lock screen depending on your device settings.

13. Reporting Content or Users

Use the available in-app reporting tools to report:

  • Profiles
  • Posts
  • Comments
  • Messages or chats
  • Businesses
  • Impersonation
  • Harassment
  • Spam
  • Fraud
  • Safety concerns
  • Community Guidelines violations

Include accurate information and relevant evidence where available.

Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. Travelism reviews available context, evidence, platform rules, and legal obligations.

False, malicious, repetitive, or retaliatory reports are prohibited.

14. Reporting an App Problem

Use the available Report a Problem or Bug Report feature when something in the app is not working correctly.

Helpful reports may include:

  • A clear description of the problem
  • What you were trying to do
  • The steps that caused the issue
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
  • Screenshots where appropriate
  • Device and app-version information

Do not include passwords, verification codes, payment details, or unnecessary identity documents in a support report.

15. Privacy and Security

To protect your account:

  • Use a secure and unique password.
  • Never share login or verification codes.
  • Keep access to your email account secure.
  • Sign out from devices you no longer use.
  • Report suspicious login activity.
  • Avoid unknown or suspicious links.
  • Do not send identity documents through ordinary posts or chats.
  • Review privacy and notification settings regularly.

Read the Travelism Privacy Policy for information about data collection, use, storage, sharing, retention, and deletion.

16. Deactivating or Deleting Your Account

Account deactivation and permanent deletion are different actions.

  • Deactivation temporarily disables or limits the account where available.
  • Deletion permanently removes or anonymizes account information after applicable security and processing requirements.

Use the account options available in Travelism Settings for deactivation or deletion assistance.

Account-deletion information will also be available at:

https://travelism.app/account-deletion

You may contact:

[email protected]

Travelism may request account-ownership verification before processing a deletion request.

17. App Updates and Troubleshooting

For general app problems:

  • Confirm that your device has a stable internet connection.
  • Update Travelism through the official app store.
  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Restart your device.
  • Check available device storage.
  • Confirm that required camera, microphone, media, file, location, contacts, calendar, or notification permissions are enabled.
  • Try the action again after a few minutes.
  • Submit a bug report if the issue continues.

Do not uninstall the app while an upload or important action is still processing.

18. Safety and Emergencies

Travelism is not an emergency service.

Do not rely on Travelism posts, chats, reports, profiles, or notifications to request urgent assistance.

For an immediate emergency, contact the relevant local emergency service or authority.

Emergency SOS lets you alert your trip collaborators and nearby users who have opted in. It does not contact emergency services, and no response is guaranteed. Always call local emergency services first.

You can choose whether you receive nearby alerts under Emergency Alerts in Settings. While nearby alerts are on, Travelism keeps your last known location so it can notify you about emergencies close to you.
